We believe we have created a ‘safety first’ culture within our company, and as such, management adequately resource projects to ensure that our workforce make it home safely and strive for an injury-free workplace. Our integrated management system’s tailored ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 HSEQ control processes are adopted to all works and are task specific.

Aligned with our integrated managements system’s IS0 9001 policies and procedures, we take pride in the implementation of industry best practice, Western Civil have invested time and money to stay at the forefront of innovative plant technology, as well as project delivery methodology.

Our management team are equipped with the latest information and communication technologies and software, allowing mobile access to our servers from even the most remote location. Our survey team is proficient in all aspects of engineering surveying from the humble dumpy level to the most advanced 3D GPS and GIS technology fitted to our plant.

Performance

Western Civil’s key personnel come from an array of backgrounds and qualifications from Civil Engineering and Project Management to Geospatial Science and Plant Operations. Our approach is to closely analyse works packages holistically to deeply understand the requirements for each project.

Our impressive fleet of over 30 pieces of plant and major equipment, allow us to self-perform tasks from earthworks and pavements to drainage and concrete paving.

Innovation

Our sites are equipped with the latest in survey control and plant ability. Each of our construction projects are delivered in accordance with our ISO certified Integrated Management System (IMS) and personnel are registered through a job specific platform, whereby the flow of information is transparent, traceable, and expeditious. The addition of wireless networking, mobile data and communications hardware and software has enabled accelerated response to any issue as they arise.

Where permitted Western Civil has worked with our clients and supply chain to substitute quarried and raw materials for recycled products. These products have shown to emit approximately half the C02 as compared to their traditional counterparts. Our expert suppliers often work with us in providing tailor made solutions for our clients by substituting products. This has yielded cost and time savings as well as minimizing our carbon footprint by frequently using recycled materials where permitted.
